Only a few Chardonnays in Spain can be aged for a long time as reserva and stay fresh, balanced, and elegant. Thanks to our location at Monjardín Valley, we are able to make this style of wines

Description

Harvested at night with cold temperature, we do skin maceration for 12 hours before pressing. Fermentation is done in french barriques for 25 days and it is aged for 14 months with lees while doing frequent batonnage. Develops complexity, rich texture on the palate necessary to age for years.

Origin

Located just in front of the winery, planted in 1988 it has always grown very high-quality grapes. At an altitude of 650 m, we harvest in October, when grapes are a golden color. Yield is low which brings high concentration, fantastic acidity, and rich texture.
